Sterling silver is a silver alloy that contains 92.5% silver - hence the name. The other 7.5% is comprised of metals that add strength to the otherwise delicate silver metal. .925 sterling silver is the best metal alloy in that it contains the most silver along with the smallest amount of other metals possible to keep the silver from scratching or breaking. .925 Sterling Silver is considered a precious metal. Our sterling silver is often finished with vermeil in 18k white, 18k gold, or 18k rose gold. | | | | (HYPOALLERGENIC) STAINLESS STEEL 316 Surgical Grade Steel is a metal compound made with iron, titanium, chromium, and carbon. It's known for its durability and luster which makes it an ideal metal choice for jewelry that is scratch resistant. Stainless steel is low maintenance, hypoallergenic, lightweight.
Our stainless steel is finished with 18k white gold, 18k gold, or 18k rose gold.
| | | | GENUINE GLASS & LAMPWORK Our most popular glass jewelry collections are Mermaid, Galaxy, and Firefly Glass. Although they're each made quite differently you can be sure they are genuine fire blown glass and have a durability to them similar to a marble. Our Firefly Collection is made from lamp work glass, where small particles of silver-activated zinc sulfide are suspended within the glass while it's being blown. Our Mermaid & Galaxy Glass have a thin iridescent core inserted into the heart of the glass which reflects ambient light. The shine comes from INSIDE the bead and never wears off like a coating.
